What students say.

Verdicts from students who studied O Level, AS, and A2 Accounting with Sir Rohail Ahmed, in their own words.

Sample testimonials. Real student quotes are being collected and will replace these.

  1. I came into AS Accounting having never seen a ledger before, and I was genuinely convinced I had picked the wrong subject. Sir Rohail started from the accounting equation and refused to move on until it actually made sense to me, not just until I could repeat it back. By the time we reached final accounts I was the one explaining adjustments to my friends. The difference was that he taught the reasoning, so every new topic slotted into something I already understood.

  2. Paper 4 was the part everyone in my batch was scared of. Marginal costing, variance analysis, investment appraisal, all of it felt like a different subject from what we had done at AS. Sir Rohail broke each technique down into a decision a real business would have to make, and suddenly the calculations had a point. I stopped memorising formats and started reading what the question was actually asking for.

  3. What I valued most was how quickly I could get unstuck. I would send a question late in the evening and get a proper explanation back, not a one line answer. That meant a small confusion never had time to grow into a gap. Over two years that added up to more than any single class did.

  4. I repeated O Level Accounting after a D in my first attempt. Sir Rohail went back through control accounts and bank reconciliations from scratch with me instead of assuming I had the basics, which is exactly where my problem was. Second time around I got an A. The subject had not become easier; I had finally been taught it properly.

  5. The past paper walkthroughs changed how I wrote answers. He would work through a question the way an examiner reads it, showing where the marks actually sit and where students throw them away on presentation. I had been losing marks for years on things that had nothing to do with whether I understood the topic.

  6. I studied online from Lahore and never once felt like I was getting the lesser version of the class. The recordings meant I could rewatch a topic the night before a test, and the weekly session was where I brought everything I had struggled with during the week. It was more structured than the in person tuition I had done before.

  7. Ratio analysis was where I finally understood why Accounting is worth studying. He taught it as reading a business rather than computing numbers, and asked us what we would tell the owner. That framing carried into my university applications, because I could talk about the subject as something I understood rather than something I had passed.

  8. My O Level class had forty students and I was invisible in it. Here the notes were organised topic by topic, the formats were exactly what the mark scheme wanted, and if I got something wrong he would find out why rather than just correcting it. That is a small difference that turned into two grades.
